Police Sensitization

The criminalization of sex work and other punitive legal and policy structures often put police and sex workers at odds with each other. Sensitization of police to the important issues and realities in sex workers’ lives can help foster more respectful treatment of sex workers and even alliances between sex workers and law enforcement. A range of creative tools have been introduced to raise police awareness and sensitivity.
