The guide reviews South Africa’s current laws related to sex work, carefully explaining legal terms that may be unfamiliar or difficult to understand, and cites successful examples of sex workers protecting their rights and reporting police abuse. This easy-to-read booklet can be used as an educational tool, to help sex workers protect themselves, or to help raise community awareness about this important issue.
